Bacon and Eggs Card

Who doesn't love bacon and eggs?  This card was so much fun to make!  I started out with papers from DCWV's Good Eats stack (LOVE that stack!) and immediately knew I had to pair it with the adorable Perfect Pairs stamp set from Annie's Paper Boutique.
The plaid background paper was cut with GMD stitched rectangle die.  I added Cranberry and Lemon Tart Trendy Twines to the banners and homemade enamel dots in the top right corner.  I attached the enamel dots with stitched glue square Glue Dots.
For the "plate"  I used Cottage Cutz stitched circle dies and shaded around the layers with light brown ink for dimension.  I used my Hampton Art Stamp Perfect to position the stamps on the plate and stamped them with Versafine Onyx Black ink.  The images are from APB Perfect Pairs stamp set and the sentiment is from APB We Go Together stamp set.  I stamped a second set of images and colored them with colored pencils, added glossy accents to them and popped them up with foam tape.

Here is a look at the DCWV Good Eats stack!

Easter Cross Card

Good morning!  I make Easter cards for our family members every year and this year is no exception!  I used patterned papers from the DCWV Lilac Love stack and the colors couldn't have been more perfect.
All of the layers (except the card base) were cut using manual die cuts!  Here is a list of them:
GMD Cross die  (a gift from my crafty friend, Theresa!)
CC Stitched Oval dies
Ebay decorative oval dies
GMD Stitched Rectangle dies
GMD Scalloped Stitched Rectangle dies
For the sentiment, I used the CardzTV Happy Days stamp set and stamped it using Versafine Black Onyx ink and my Hampton Art Stamp Perfect to ensure perfect placement every time.  For embellishments, I used Grape Fizz Trendy Twine and Nuvo Crystal Drops- Gloss White.
I love this design so much that I made a whole batch of them!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Windmill withTulips Card

Hello all!  I am back with another Wednesday edition of Victorine Originals creations!  This time I am using a Windmill stamp that has lots of gorgeous tulips surrounding it.
I stamped the image on watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink and used aqua brushes with Tim Holtz Distress Inks to color it in.  To do so, just rub the ink pad face down on your craft mat and pick up a bit of that color with your wet brush and start painting!  The colors I used were (L) Salty Ocean, Vintage Photo, (R) Mustard Seed, Worn Lipstick, and Mowed Lawn.
Once dry, I die cut around the image using Cottage Cutz stitched oval dies.  I used Tombow Xtreme permanent adhesive under the watercolor layer to make sure it had a strong hold.  I layered that with a Spellbinder Floral Ovals die.  The whole oval panel was popped up with Scotch foam tape.
All of the patterned papers are from DCWV's Watercolor stack.  To embellish, I made a double bow of crinkled seam binding and also added three dots of Nuvo Crystal Drops in gloss white.
Here is a closer look at the new Windmill stamp.  It is currently on SALE!

Easter Lily Bouquet Box Card

Happy Monday!  Today is my day to post on the SVG Attic blog.  With Easter being less than two weeks away, I decided to make the Easter lily bouquet box card from SVG Attic's JGW Flower Boxcard Bouquets set
To see all the the pieces for this card on your cutting mat may seem a bit intimidating at first, but Jodi has a wonderful tutorial HERE that walks you through it step by step.  The end result is SO worth it!!  Check out that beautiful bouquet of lilies!
And a close up of them...  Two of the layers have clear acetate behind them for added support for the flowers.  I used Glue Dots stitched glue squares to stick the flowers to the acetate.
The label on the front adds so much!  I used DCWV's Meet Me In Paris stack for all of the patterned papers.  The embellishments are Nuvo Crystal Drops in gloss white and gloss bubblegum blush as well as Totally Chocolate and Chocolate Cupcake Trendy Twines.  I also added a thin strip of gold washi tape at the bottom of the box to bring out the gold foiling on the patterned paper.  The best part is that the card fold flat for easy giving and storing!
Additional adhesives I used on this project are Scotch Tacky glue, Scotch foam tape, and Glue Dots craft dots.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
