Happy Birthday, Lesley!

Today is a very special day!  Lesley, the owner of Annie's Paper Boutique is celebrating her birthday.  The DT, GDT, and past DT members wanted to make is extra special, so we are surprising her with lots of cards.  Head on over to the Twine It Up blog to see them all!

Here is the card I created for her...

Lesley loves Disney related things, and I have an EK Success Mickey Mouse & Friends paper pad in my stash that I knew would be perfect for her card.  The cascading card base and envelope files are from SVG Attic.  The card features Trendy Twine (of course!) in Cherry Cupcake as a wrap around it to hold it closed.

When the card is all opened up, you can see that I stamped on the inside of two of the panels with ABP Smile and APB Documenting the Everyday stamp sets.

Here are close ups of thsoe two panels.

The Smile stamp set is one of my favorites for birthday cards!

Last, but not least, I added a Minnie die cut at the top and decorated with Pink Diamond Sparkling Gems, and dots of Kirarina Pearl White pen.  I hope Lesley loves it :)

Remember to hop on over to the Twine It Up blog to see all the amazing cards.

Turkey in Woods Card

Good Morning!  Today I have a reminder post for the current "All Dressed Up" challenge that is in the SumMore Fun Creations Facebook group. The card I am sharing with you uses Raisin Boat's Happy Thanksgiving stamp set and Victorine Originals' Grove of Trees stamp.

I stamped the Grove of Trees stamp twice and grass from the Happy Thanksgiving stamp set using my stamp platform onto white cardstock using black ink.  I used wonky stitched rectangle dies and patterned paper from DCWV's Amber Autumn stack to mat and layer the stamped image.  The tom turkey stamp is also from the Happy Thanksgiving stamp set.  I stamped it onto another piece of white cardstock and cut around it with my Brother Scan N Cut (Love that machine!)  I then colored the turkey with Prismacolor colored pencils then popped it up onto my card front with foam tape.  Three copper brads were the only embellishments I added.  Now this card is ready for Thanksgiving or a birthday, depending on what sentiment I add to the inside!

For You Rose Card

Good Morning!  Today is my day to post on the SumMore Fun blog.  The card I am sharing with you uses SumMore Fun's A Rose By Any Other Name stamp set.

I stamped the image and sentiment on watercolor paper using my stamp platform and Versafine Onyx Black ink.  I then brushed Sparkling Unicorn Spit (samples) on my craft mat and spritzed them with water then tapped my paper into the colors.  The colors I used were Starling Sasha, Violet Vulture, and Golden Gosling.  I then used a thin paintbrush to paint the roses with Violet Vulture Unicorn Spit and some of the other elements with Golden Gosling Unicorn Spit.  Click on the picture below for it to zoom in so you can see how beautiful the sparkle is with the Sparkling Unicorn Spit!!

To finish the card off, I matted the stamped panel with black and patterned cardstock, then added purple enamel dots and Glitter Pink Pearl Pen dots which added just a little more sparkle and shine to it!

You Are Amazing Card

Good Morning!  Today is my day to post on the SumMore Fun blog.  The card I am sharing with you uses the SMF On Pointe stamp set.

I stamped the image and sentiment from the SMF On Pointe stamp set with brown ink because I wanted a softer image to blend with the whole shabby chic feel of the card.  I die cut around the image with a stitched oval die then accented the image with Pearl Pen in Glitter Pink and Pearl Pink.  The shine and glitter on her dress is so beautiful in real life!  I matted that with a kraft die cut oval and popped that up with foam tape on a die cut lace square.

I added the sentiment banner with foam tape and embellished it with a dot of Pearl Pink Pearl Pen on each end.  The only other embellishment I used was Cotton Candy Trendy Twine.  The patterned papers are from The Paper Studio's Boho Vibes paper pad.

Remember, we have a monthly challenge going on right right now in the SumMore Fun Creations Facebook group!  It has a theme of All Dressed Up, so enter your projects that fit that theme today.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
