Picnic Basket

Summer is on it's way out, but I decided to give it one last hurrah and make a summery project.  I cut out this picnic basket from SVGCuts' Picnic in the Park svg files using the Freshly Picked paper stack by DCWV.  I love the bright cheery colors and designs along with the glitter :)  The base of the basket was cut from a light kraft colored cardstock.  I used brown chalk around the edges of all of the pieces for added dimension.
I added a large array of buttons and flowers as well as epoxy circles featuring more of the prints from the designer paper.  I used some twine for a couple little bows and now I have a beautiful gift box!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

  19. WOW. You are kicking butt with this project and I can see why it is stunning. I love Stacks from DCWV almost so much that I don't use them. But I'm trying to break out of that habit and use all those pretty papers. I love that you added liquid chalk around the edges. It really does add some dimension. Thanks for joining us at Chalk Ah Lot.
