I tried a new technique called water stamping on this card. I used stamps from SumMore Fun's Raisin Boat Curly Cute stamp set. The background was created by blending Distress Oxide inks in Worn Lipstick, Twisted Citron, and Peacock Feathers (I love those bright colors!) I added the circular stamps in my stamp platform, spritzed them with water, then stamped them onto my blended paper letting them set for a minute before lifting the lid. I even used the back (solid surface) of two of the circle stamps to make lighter filled circles on the paper.
The sentiment was stamped from the same set with VersaFine Onyx Black and embossed with clear powder. The only embellishments were Black, Morning Dew, and White Nuvo Crystal Drops. The white and crystal drops took on some of the color from the Distress Oxide inks they were on.
This is the mood board for the current challenge:
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
