SumMore Fun Sneak Peek Day 4 ~ You Can

Hello all!  Welcome to the new release week for SumMore Fun!  All the stamp sets you see will be available on Thursday, October 11th.  Today we get to showcase the new stamp set called You Can.  *EDITED to add the You Can stamp set is now available HERE.   Here is the card I created from it.
I started by stamping the large "YOU CAN" sentiment with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink onto cardstock from MAMBI breast cancer paper pad.  As always, I used the stamp platform to do so!  I added clear embossing powder on the sentiment and heat embossed it.  It created a subtle marbling effect on the letters, as you can see in the picture below.
I stamped the ribbon from the You Can set in Picked Raspberry DO as well, then the "beat this" sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black over the top of that.  I die cut that with a doily die and popped that up with foam tape.  The finishing embellishment was a drop of Pearl Pink Pearl Pen on either end of the black strip in the middle of the card.

Make sure to hop on over to the SumMore Fun blog for all of the other inspiration cards from this stamp set and to see the PRIZES being given away this week!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

  1. Pretty card! I could also see using some Wink of Stella to add a nice touch instead of the embossing...I sometimes have issues when I emboss. :)

  5. Very pretty. I never think to stamp over patterned paper. It looks great, just like you stamped it for that very reason. Nice job!
