50 Years Anniversary Card

Good morning crafty friends!  I have an aunt and uncle who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary earlier this year.  What an accomplishment!  This is the card I created for them.  If this card looks familiar, it is because I posted a 25th anniversary card with the same style last year :)
I cut a paper from DCWV's Mercury Glass stack with Crafter's Companion Classic Floral Frame die.  It is so gorgeous!  I added a Sizzix adhesive sheet to the back of the paper before I die cut it to make it easier to adhere to my card.  The 50 was created in my SCAL software with the Fantasy font. I sized it at 1.75" wide then copy/pasted it and shadowed the second set. It was popped up with foam tape on the card. The word "years" was stamped with the Details Alphabet Stamps-Lovers Lane Uppercase Font.  They are individual letter stamps that snap together to create custom word stamps.  The ink color I used was Scrapbook.com Camel ink.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Valentine Wreath Card

Good morning!  Today I am back with another Valentine's Day card on the SumMore Fun blog.  This one uses the Raisin Boat Springtime Love stamp set, which I absolutely LOVE!
I started by stamping a white cardstock panel for the background.  I used Rainy Day SB.com ink on the wreath stamp from the Raisin Boat Springtime Love stamp set and randomly stamped over the whole paper.  The dark gray and white scalloped circles were die cut with Cottage Cutz dies and I stamped a wreath onto the white layer with SB.com Pink Flamingo ink.  I added the tiny hearts to the wreath with Confetti Pink ink and the open hearts with Mixed Berry ink.  I filled in the open hearts with Glitter Pink Pearl Pen.
On the bottom half of the card, I added a sentiment from the Raisin Boat Springtime Love stamp set in Mixed Berry ink and also filled the heart in with Glitter Pink Pearl Pen.  To embellish, I wrapped Raspberry Cupcake Trendy Twine around the card front before adhering it to the card base.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

6 Pack Retirement Box Card

Good morning everyone! It has been quite a while since I have posted a project that is just something that I made without it being for a design team. This card is one that I made for my father-in-law for his retirement at the beginning of the month. He loved it!
I started with a file from the Silhouette Design Store that was a six pack of beer box card. On a side note I could have also purchased a very similar design (part of the Sunday With Dad kit) from SVG Cuts, but I had a balance in the Silhouette store so I decided to go that route.
The papers I used on it were Kraft cardstock and DCWV's Guy stack. The stamp is from Raisin Boat's No Loss For Words stamp set, which was stamped in Scrapbook.com Cinnamon ink. That is the only stamp set I have in my big collection that has a sentiment for retirement so I was thankful that I had that on hand! Once it was all assembled I added a bow of Chocolate Truffle Trendy Twine and some Gina Marie Designs Paradise enamel dots.
Here is a top view of the card so you can see more of the details. The whole card was assembled using Scotch tacky glue.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Father Sunset Card

Hello all!  I'm back with another post for SumMore Fun today.  Once again, I am using the beautiful Raisin Boat Pier Happiness stamp set to create my card.
It is a simple card with all the stamping done in black ink!  The wow factor is the ink blending to create a sunset scene.  I simply love the sentiment on the card.  I tried to keep that same heartfelt message with the trees and birds, showing a "father and child" in both areas of the card.
The sunset blending was created with Scrapbook.com inks in Daffodil, Orange Spice, and Mardi Gras.  I blended Midnight Blue ink in from the outer edges as well.  Distress Oxide inks also blend beautifully and this scene could easily be re-created with those as well.  I simply matted the stamped layer onto black cardstock to create the card front and it was complete.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Bakers Twine~Valentine Treat Tube

Good morning friends! Today I am posting for the Trendy Twine blog. I am getting geared up for Valentine's Day so that is the project theme that I wanted to go with today.
I started with one of the fun Kraft Window Tubes that are available in the Annie's Paper Boutique store. They are shipped flat so you can easily stamp on them. The APB stamp sets that I used are You & MeWe Go Together, and Perfect Pairs.
The sentiments were stamped in black ink using the We Go Together stamp set. I also stamped the images from the Perfect Pairs stamp set in black ink. I then colored the images with colored pencils. The stamped hearts were from the You & Me stamp set and I used Scrapbook.com Candy Shop Pink and Mixed Berry inks for those. The finishing touch was wrapping Cherry Cupcake Trendy Twine around the tube and then I added a package of powdered donuts.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:
There also have been SEVERAL new sampler sets added to the store, including Valentine's day ones.  Here is just one example called "Lovely".

Sewing Scraps Card

Hello and happy Wednesday!  I am posting for the SumMore Fun blog today.  This time I am bringing back one of my very first Victorine Originals stamp sets...the Sewing set.  It has been three years since I first got this set and still love it to pieces!
This card was different for me.  It is supposed to look like fabric scraps and therefore is haphazard.  NOT how I usually create, but the Carta Bella Sew Lovely paper scraps were begging to be used!  I simply adhered the patterned paper onto the 5x7'' card base and then filled in the gaps with stamps from the Sewing set in brown ink.
The sentiment was also stamped in brown and is from the Victorine Originals Floral and Sayings stamp set, ANOTHER of my absolute favorites! <3  The only embellishments were some buttons and a a little sewing thread through a couple of them.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Pier Scene Card

Hello all and welcome back to another Wednesday in which I am posting for SumMore Fun!  This card was created with the recently restocked Raisin Boat Pier Happiness and No Loss For Words stamp sets.  I really enjoyed creating this scene!
I used several colors of inks on this card, as you can see.  I received new Scrapbook.com hybrid inks for Christmas, and have loved experimenting with them.  First of all, I stamped the pier with Black ink and watercolored it with Cinnamon ink and an aqua brush.  I then filled in the rest of the scene with stamps, starting with the rocks.  Those were stamped with Charcoal ink and watercolored with Rainy Day ink.  The tree was next, being stamped with Pine and Cinnamon inks.
The grass was stamped with Succulent ink and I did some second generation and partial stamping of the grass too.  I added sand stamped with Camel ink and geese flying with Rainy Day ink.  To finish off the sky, I used Daffodil ink to blend a little sunshine in from the top right corner.
The water was created by watercoloring with Postal Blue ink.  I decided I wanted to add a sentiment, so I chose "Thinking of you" from the No Loss For Words stamp set and stamped it in black.  To finish off the scene, I lightly blended Rainy Day ink around the outside edges.  Once I matted it with black and navy cardstock, it was ready to be adhered to a card base.

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Thank You Sketch Card

Hello and Happy New Year!  Today I am posting for the SumMore Fun blog.  I decided to kick off 2020 with a card style that we ALL can use...a thank you card.
The stamp that I used is a red rubber Victorine Originals Thank You.  I placed the cling mounted stamp on my stamp platform and stamped it with Scrapbook.com Midnight Blue Ink.  I cleaned my stamp off, leaving it on the platform, then used Versamark Ink to re-stamp.  I then heat embossed with clear embossing powder for a little extra visual interest.  I added a little brown ink around the edge of the stamped rectangle then popped it up with foam tape onto the card base.  The base of the card was created with navy blue cardstock, DCWV Cartographer patterned paper, In The Navy Trendy Twine, and metal brads.  This card was perfect to send off as a thank you for Christmas gifts!

I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
