Wood Planks Card

Hello friends!  Once again, I am posting for the SumMore Fun blog today.  I am sharing one last card that I created using the stamps from the Handy Man Pack.  Those sets are  RB Handy Man and RB Nailed It.

While this card may seem simple, I was very excited to make it!  I started by placing the wood plank stamp from the Handy Man stamp set into the center of my stamp platform and stamping it over and over on kraft cardstock with Walnut Stain Distress Oxide ink.  I simply would move my paper to wherever I thought it would be neat to have the next plank!  Once the paper was trimmed to the planks, I distressed the joints with Leather ink using a narrow blending brush.  Once that was adhered to the card base, I stamped the sentiment from Nailed It in black.  On a scrap piece of paper, I stamped the circular saw image from Handy Man, cut it out with my Brother Scan N Cut, and colored it with Artify alcohol markers before adhering it to the card with foam tape.  The final addition to the card were several tiny dots of silver Pearl Pen to mimic nail heads in the boards.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
