Serenity Prayer Cross Card

Happy Wednesday!  Today is my day to post on the Victorine Originals blog.  It is a serenity prayer card.
First, I stamped the Victorine Originals Serenity Prayer Cross stamp using Versafine Onyx Black ink and my Hampton Art stamp press on paper from DCWV's Country Floral stack.  I used GMD Crochet Lace Oval dies to cut and layer the stamp.  A GMD scalloped stitched rectangle die was used for the background cut.
For embellishments, I used GMD Sunset colors enamel dots and pretty roses that matched the patterned paper.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Trendy Twine ~ Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July!  Today, a couple of the Trendy Twine Gals have created patriotic projects to share with you.  Stop by the Trendy Twine blog to see their inspiration!  Here is the card that I created...
The 4th of July just so happens to be my dad's birthday!  This year is a milestone celebration since he turns 75, so I made this patriotic card for him, but you could easily make this into card just for the 4th of July.
I used Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine and APB Peppermint Icicle Sequins at the top.  The card itself was created from SVG Attic's JGW Festive Fourth files and DCWV's Seaside Yacht paper stack.
I added the Sentiment from the APB Smile Stamp Set.  The tag was die cut from an unbranded die from eBay and I added more of the Berries Jubilee Trendy Twine to that as well.

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Patriotic Tussie Mussie

Hello everyone!  Today is my day to post on the SVG Attic blog.  I have this patriotic Tussie Mussie just in time for the 4th of July tomorrow!
The Tussie Mussie (cone) file is from SVG Attic's JGW July 4th Block Party.  The rosette is part of that file, but I switched out the medallion on the front with the SDS Star Medallion.  It was resized to 2.5" to fit properly on the medallion.  All the papers are from The Paper Studio's Vintage Nation stack.
See all the beautiful details around the top of the Tussie Mussie!
I filled it with various patriotic items I had in my craft room.  Silk flowers, star sprays and a painted flag heart.  I put floral foam and kraft shred in the cone before adding the decorations.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!

Something To Taco 'Bout Card

Good Morning!  I almost feel like I should be posting this card on a Tuesday ;)  But since the holiday is on Tuesday, I am sharing it today!  So, here is my "let's give em something to taco 'bout" card.
I started with papers from DCWV's Good Eats stack, which couldn't have been more perfect.  The dies I used include the GMD Puppy Dog Dies for the Chihuahua and GMD Double Stitched In & Out Cut Circle dies for the circles it is matted on.  The background paper was cut with the GMD Chevron Background Cutting Plate die.
For embellishments I used Pink Midnight Trendy Twine and GMD Sunset colors enamel dots.  This card just makes me SMILE and I hope it does the same for you!
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
