Fun fact...did you know that one of my first crafting loves was sewing? Yup! My mom let me use her sewing machine when I was 5. I have a 5 year old and there is NO WAY I would let him near my sewing machines LOL! What was my mom thinking? We will go with encouraging my creativity ;)
Anyway, here is my card for today. I uses the lovely GMD Block Style Quilt Die #6.
The patterned paper I used was from Echo Park's Sew Lovely 6x6 paper pad. I added a tie of In The Navy Trendy Twine in the center.I added stamps from Oriental Trading with Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear embossing powder. I shaded the stamping with a white chalk marker and a white gel pen. I finished it off with Nuvo Crystal Drops in white and black.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
So PRETTY! LOVE the papers you used in the quilted pattern! And nothing wrong with letting you use a sewing machine at 5yrs. old.. My great niece started that early as well... her step-grandma taught her and she LOVES to sew now.... She's only 10 and has made many things already... my sister bought her, her own sewing machine for Christmas, so she wouldn't use her Mothers... and that girl has a ball making stuff! :) I wish someone would have taught me how to sew! LOL I will live vicariously through you & my Great niece! LOL Have a great weekend! :)
