Monster Hugs Card

Hello all!  Today I have a card that was simply FUN to create!  I used a technique I saw Jennifer McGuire post with Distress Inks and I tried it out on this card.
I started with Canson XL watercolor paper and inked up an acrylic stamp block with Distress Inks in the following colors:  Mowed Lawn, Mustard Seed, and Fired Brick.  I generously sprayed the ink with water and flipped it over onto the paper, letting it soak in for 5 minutes with a heavy object on top.  I also tapped the block onto the paper to get some splatters of ink on the paper.  When that was dry, I added GMD Little Monsters die cuts and doodled with a black Gelly Roll pen around the center.  The sentiment was made on my computer with the Amore TTF font, size 26.  The finishing touch was GMD enamel dots from the Mai Tai and Watermelon collections.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
