Hello all and happy Thursday! I tried out some homemade embossing paste on colored cardstock and made it into a card. Here is how it turned out!
For the recipe I used to make my homemade embossing paste, check out THIS blog post. I used a Mister Huey's Mask (stencil) on this card. Since it was approx 4x6", it wasn't big enough to cover an A2 base, so I didn't fill the whole stencil with paste. The cardstock did warp from the moisture in the paste, so I think I will stick with watercolor paper from now on.
I added die cuts from GMD Lacey Doily die and GMD Lace Butterfly die and embellished with GMD Succulents enamel dots. The sentiment is from Jillibean Soup and I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.
I hope you have a wonderfully crafty day!
