Hello friends! I am back with another blog post for the Trendy Twine blog. Our featured twine for the month is Cherry Licorice Trendy Twine. I decided to do something very different from the love theme that is generally present this month and made some masculine cards.
My first card uses our featured Cherry Licorice Trendy Twine wrapped around the background papers. I stamped a motorcycle from Raisin Boat's Highway High stamp set in black then heat embossed it with clear powder for shine. The sentiment was from the same set and was stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with white powder.I die cut around it with oval dies then popped that panel up with foam tape over the Cherry Licorice Trendy Twine. Two square sequins from the Christmas Shaker Medley were attached in the top right corner using Glue Dots.
After making the red card, I had to make one with orange! I love how the orange really pops against the black and grays. It was made in the same way as the red card except I used enamel dots to embellish instead of sequins.
Here you can see the shine of the embossing on the motorcycle.
