Steeping You In Love Card

Happy Sunday! For a while I will be posting for the SumMore Fun blog on Sundays instead of my regular Wednesdays. This weekend, through Monday, you can get the SMF Sundri's High Tea stamp set at no cost if you make a $35+ order.  Here is what I made for inspiration:

 I started by stamping the white strip of cardstock with the rose stamps from Sundri's High Tea using a stamp platform and Scrapbook.com inks in the Rose group, which made a beautiful ombre effect.  From there, I stamped the teacup from Sundri's High Tea in black, colored it with markers and used a CC stitched circle die to cut around it.  The sentiment is also from the Sundri's High Tea set and was also stamped in black.  I matted all the layers of paper with black cardstock and inked around the edges of the lighter papers with SB.com Sugar Cookie ink.  I added a GMD lacey snowflake die cut in green underneath the teacup circle, which was popped up with foam tape.  The finishing touch was two Pearl Pink Pearl Pen dots in the top right corner.  The background patterned paper is from The Paper Studio's Mint Berry paper pad.
