Hello all! Welcome to Day 5 of my Growing in Unity week! It has been a wonderful week. Thank you to everyone who has commented on my posts. Please consider becoming a follower by blog and/or Facebook page if you like what you have seen! Everyone who comments on my posts this week will be entered into a drawing for two $20 gift certificates to Unity Stamp Co. Isn't that so generous of them to donate those prizes?
Here is my final card for this week:
I make a lot of sympathy cards, and I thought this was fitting as I am sad it is my last day for GIU. This card was created with the Everything More stamp set. I have used that set SO MUCH! If you don't have it, you probably need it ;) I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black and heat embossed with clear powder. Then I stamped the border with VersaMark and heat embossed with copper powder and used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut that layer plus a shadow layer in black. That layer was popped up with foam tape. I think the embossing adds a lot of elegance to the card! Patterned papers are from the Craft Smith Natural Luxury paper pad. I used a border die and a cross die near the bottom of the card and embellished with a tie of white seam binding.
What a classy and pretty card!

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful and tranquil sympathy card! These can be so hard to make. I like the neutral colours and comforting message. I had better start collecting some more Unity Stamps!
