Hello all, and welcome to August! This month, the Trendy Twine blog is spotlighting Back to School projects with Cherry Midnight Trendy Twine. What a fun time of the year! I created treats for my boys returning to school this month.
I started with Manila Library Pockets (Standard size), which fit a 1.55 oz. Hershey's bar perfectly! Instant treat packaging! I covered the candy bar and the front of the Manila Library Pockets with patterened paper from the Park Lane School Days paper pad.I created the tags using Lemon Tag-Its, a sentiment from the Greetings stamp set in black ink, a strip of patterned paper, and wrapped with Cherry Midnight Trendy Twine. Instead of tying twine through the hole at the top of the tag, I decided to attach it to the pocket with an adorable Mini Wooden Clothespin that I tied a tiny bow of Cherry Midnight Trendy Twine on. To embellish, I added Christmas Shaker Medley sequins with mini glue dots and two arrow stickers. I'm sure my boys will love this cheerful treat to begin their school year!
Here's what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:
